I don't know if it counts as bragging about a brand but I definitely brag shamelessly about my job. I run a program for undergraduate science students, matching them with research faculty so they can get hands-on experience and hopefully make themselves more attractive to future grad schools and employers. As part of the job I get check up on my students, spending a day with them doing whatever it is that their doing. Thanks to that I spend my summer hiking, kayaking, bird watching, and playing with random things. Every time I do something new it goes up on my facebook page.

That Blog up there? That's what I'm doing...and then some.

After a brief bout of unemployment, spent on-line an average 12hrs a day, reading about the world of Social Media, etc. I woke up one day a decided, what the hell...I'm going to start my own company. So, I did.

Spent 3 to 4 months defining, refining and reading everything I could get my pitiful little fingers on. Won a Twitter contest held by mashable.com. Realized, I AM fantastic...and I had been honing my Social Media skills for years.

Now I have a small boutique firm, eChi™ Social Media Solutions. I'm doing very well. Hired three employees a couple of weeks back. And I'm excited every morning.

Plus, I adore >carrot creative...you have been a mentor to this tiny little co. in Arkansas...
