    “Work hard, play harder” is a motto I abide by. Creating the perfect formula of product/service development and personal reward — in regard to both time and high quality — is important for each team member. Sounds obvious; but the question is: How do you practice it well? As an employee or CEO, how do you consistently motivate your co-workers/team to do what they do (aside from their own selves)? Well I believe Carrot Creative nailed the solution, and it’s pretty damn sweet — one that Mike Germano has simply labeled “organic”. It’s evident in Carrot’s presence online & at meet-ups; and this is what attracted me to the agency when I first discovered them over a year ago. I had attended a few Digital Dumbo events; but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago at a Four Seasons’ “Martini Monday” where I really got to sit down & talk with Carrot. A couple interviews followed, then…<insert singing choir>.

    As an Interaction Designer I’m bringing experiences from working with various tech start-ups as a designer & front-end coder, having great mentors, and most recently as a mobile visual designer for Comedy Central. I studied graphic design at Columbia College Chicago, with a study-abroad in Italy and the Netherlands. Also, I have two addictions: music and dance. So if you ever want to talk about dance/electronica, or learn the rumba, just let me know!
