Extra! Extra! Read all about one of the Carrot Crew and CEO of Teach The People Jason Beckerman at Wired Magazine online. I can not begin to describe my excitement in having my favorite magazine, one that I greatly respect and continuously reread every month, feature a client and friend that is near and dear to the Carrot. We are all so proud of Jason and can not wait until TTP is a household name within the next year.

Be sure to check out TTP in the upcoming months, and let us know what you think of the design.

    CUBED

First and foremost, we would like to thank Andre Yap, Director of the Center for University Based Enterprise and Development, for the opportunity to be associated with CUBED Venture Quest. We are proud to announce that Carrot Creative’s Mike Germano was recently appointed as the Media Marketing Advisor for CUBED, serving as one of seven advisors for the center. Also, Carrot Creative has been selected to be the primary provider of all Web 2.0 and Social Media Marketing services for new ventures developed with CUBED.

    TTP
Today marks a milestone for a good friend and client of Carrot Creative—Teach The People. TTP has been named one of the top 40 hottest start-ups companies and will be on exhibit this week at the TechCrunch40 Conference in San Francisco. The conference is hosted by TechCrunch and Jason Calacanis and takes place September 17th-18th, 2007.

Jason Beckerman, creator of TTP and good friend of Carrot Creative, will be in pursuit of the $50,000 cash award, along with other services and acknowledgements from an extensive group of corporate sponsors that includes, but is not limited to: Sequoia Capital, Mayfield Fund and AOL. We are so committed to the success of TTP that the Carrot Executive Team, consisting of Mike and Bobby, has joined Jason in San Francisco to further assist in informing the masses on TTP. As for Chris and I, we decided to take this time and further inform you on the identity and method of design for one of our closest clients and greatest accomplishments to date.

    Lotto

Kermit the Frog once said, “It ain’t easy being green!” We at Carrot completely disagree, and that’s why we are excited to introduce the first of many collaborations with Dank Apps Inc—LOTTO. Now Facebook users can win weekly jackpots with this weekly contest application. As Lotto grows, so do the jackpots. Best of all, users get up to seven tickets and roll the dice of luck without paying a cent.

Within three weeks of launching, LOTTO already has over 80,000 users and is ranked as one of the most recently active Facebook applications. Its instant and growing popularity has warranted us to start work on a 2.0 version of it, where we will be utilizing more ‘Word of Mouse’ functions. We will have new and improved updates soon, but for now check out the logo and method of design below.
