I am proud to announce that Carrot Creative will be making the much anticipated move to NYC in March 2008. After a long, arduous search, we have found our NYC home in Brooklyn, specifically the DUMBO area. Check out My Flicker for photos of this stellar space.
With the New Hampshire Primary underway, and Super Tuesday vastly approaching, it is about time that Carrot Creative rally behind one candidate. After much debate, Carrot Creative supports (drum roll please)…. BARACK OBAMA. Not only do we feel he is the best candidate and best represents the ideals that Carrot Creative holds true to, but his campaign logo got our creative juices flowing. Tell us what you think of our “Carrot for Obama” logo.
Well, it’s the first week of 2008 and that can mean only one thing… PRIMARY SEASON! The political debates are heating up in the office after a thrilling night of watching the Iowa Caucus results. Even though we all have differing opinions on who is the most capable to be our next President, we all agree on one thing—this election will be won be the candidate who can best engage and inspire young voters. Thus, we are thrilled, and urge all of you, to check out the Facebook/ABC debates this Saturday. And while we could not be happier that candidates, and the political arena in general, are utilizing Social Media, this is something we have seem coming for quite some time. In fact, I was feeling a bit nostalgic and found an article at MTV.com entitled Gen Y Turning To Web, Turning Off CNN, For Political News that discusses the power of Web 2.0 in politics and includes Carrot’s own Mike Germano and Mike Radparvar.
After feeling extremely slighted after this holiday season, when our bosses, Mike and Bobby, ignored our countless “Be Santa” letters to Santa, and handwritten letters written on company stationary asking for Nintendo Wii and flat screen TV’s for the office; Kyle and I went ahead and did something about it.

Merry Christmas! The Carrot Crew has a lot to be thankful for this year and we owe everything to our employees, clients, & family. This year our Facebook Application “BE SANTA” help spread Christmas Joy around the world which was truly amazing. Not only did we show the power of the internet but made many people happy. That has made this year a very special Carrot Christmas, plus we replaced the traditional Christmas Cookies with Carrots for Santa.
From everyone at the Carrot Crew we wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The entire Carrot Crew had a great time at the Mash Meet Up last night and would like to thank Simeon from Utterz and Adam from Mashable for holding such a great Web 2.0 event. We met a lot of insightful, energetic folks in the Web 2.0 world that we are now happy to call friends and supporters of Carrot Creative.
We would just like to remind anyone interested in Social Media, Web 2.0, Social Networking Sites, or the Future of Social Media to attend the MashMeet in NYC this Tuesday, Dec 18, from 7-9 pm at the Village Pourhouse (64 Third Ave). Several members of the Carrot Crew attended last month’s MashMeet and had such a great time that Robert, Kyle, Steve, Christian, Jason, Mike and I will all be in attendance tomorrow. Hope to see everyone there.
Well, it appears that the local weathermen were wrong again. The New Haven area, currently the home of Carrot Creative’s main office, was not anticipating any snowfall as initial reports stated 0-3 inches of precipitation. However, mounds of white goodness are already piling up and we are expected to get 6-9 inches by late afternoon. Thus, we have closed the Carrot offices this afternoon and will be working from home. If you need to get ahold of us, you can best reach us via e-mail. Have a safe trip home everyone.
