Well After 183 different sketches, 19 concepts, and 8 revisions we now have a LoudCampus logo! It was a close race between two concepts but the exclamation point was a crowd favorite. World meet Loudcampus, Loudcampus meet world I hope you play nice.
It is a rarity to be able to work with a client that we can say truly influenced our lives before we even worked with them. Such is the case with one of our favorite clients, and favorite bands, The Dave Matthews Band. We recently had the opportunity to create the flash design for the DMB website as well as design the concert tickets for the upcoming summer tour.
Check out the new and improved site at www.dmband.com and tell us what you think. And hopefully, we see you at the Hartford, CT show. We’ll be the group of guys with bright orange polos on!
Once the Tour is over I will be able to post the Ticket Designs I made for the tour!
Carrot Executive Director Mike Germano will be speaking at Quinnipiac University on October 5th 2006 at 5:00pm.
His speech will be focused on the roles of individuals in the community, centering on the new role that the internet has taken in community activity. If you are planning on attending this event, please contact us for more information.
Carrot was recently hired to work with RK Bridal, a quaint wedding boutique located in New York City. RK Bridal was featured on season 2 of The Apprentice, so if the Donald likes this place, it must be good.
Carrot will be providing RK Bridal with an advanced Search Engine Optimization service to help grow their business further through the internet world. We are excited to be working with a company that was featured on such a well known TV show, and we hope that through our service RK Bridal will continue to succeed.
We are pleased to announce the completion of the New Laurel View Country Club website. Not only did we enjoy capturing the beauty of the golf course, but Bobby especially enjoyed spending numerous hours “working hard” at the course and getting his handicap down to a five.
Take a peek at the new site to see the new spin we put on Laurel View’s web presence. (And yes, I did just make a golf pun). http://www.laurelviewcc.com
Carrot is proud to be renewing our membership with the Hamden Chamber of Commerce this year. We first became members in 2005, and have always appreciated the support we’ve gotten from our fellow members. We in turn offer the same support, and hope that our fellow members know we are always here for their marketing and website needs. We may be known as the nerds of the Chamber, but we know it is mean that in a good way. Besides, we are known to be the most fun at the after parties, so naturally everyone likes us.
CUREchief.com is a website that Carrot is very proud to have worked on. Having many Carrot family members affected by cancer, we are hoping to bring acknowledgement and recognition to the people who have fought cancer.
CUREchief is a wonderful organization that offers handmade, fashionable kerchiefs for both children and adults who are fighting cancer. We hope that through our contribution of mainting the website, we are able to show our support for those fighting cancer.
Please visit www.CUREchief.com for more information regarding this organization.
Congratulations, to Steve Sohcot for being appointed by the Mayor of Hamden to the Hamden Technology Commission. This is a volunteer committee that advises the Mayor & Legislative Council on technology-related issues. Craig Henrici, the new mayor of Hamden, ran on a platform of creating a much improved technological infrastructure for the town. One upcoming topic includes, free Wi-Fi for the entire town. Mayor Craig Henrici, acknowledged that Steve is an expert in the technology industry and his sound analytical skills for problem solving as a benefit for evaluating all new technology in Hamden. The Carrot crew just wanted to say good job Steve, we just hope the meetings are not during Grey’s Anatomy.
