In the spirit of giving, Carrot Creative will be co-sponsoring an upcoming blood drive alongside Jauntsetter, Brooklyn Based and Haydenn-Harnett  Friday August 21st 2009 from 4:00PM – 9:30PM. The Blood Drive Busmobile will be at Bedford Avenue and N. 12th Street.

Full details can be found here including a form to register for a specific time to come down to the park and donate. Members of the Carrot Crew will be there along with reps from the other companies sponsoring. Snacks will also be provided and if needed, I’m sure one of the Carrot Crew members will gladly hold your hand if you’re nervous about needles.

We’re all for charity and helping out great causes here at Carrot Creative and being able to work with them as part of our day to day makes it even better.

We’ve had the pleasure of working on a campaign with Campbell Soup Company who will join forces on May 9th with the National Association of Letter Carriers to Stamp Out Hunger!™ across America in order to provide assistance to the one in eight Americans who struggle with hunger.

Here at Carrot Creative, we obviously like social media.We live and breathe it. We also like charity and getting involved in the community. So when our nice friends who organized the successful Social Media For Social Change (SM4SC)last year in Boston asked us to participate in the New York version this year—we obviously said yes.We also loaned some of our skillful Carrot Crew members to help with some redesign work as well. (Don’t worry, we have them back and they look well-fed)
