It seems like yesterday when we began Carrot in a small office in Connecticut. Now, only a few years later, we are rooting ourselves in the best and brightest city in the world. Our success would not be possible without the love and belief that our family, friends and clients have given us through these years. Thank you for that.

The political debates are heating up in the office after a thrilling night of watching the Iowa Caucus results. Even though we all have differing opinions on who is the most capable to be our next President, we all agree on one thing—this election will be won be the candidate who can best engage and inspire young voters. Thus, we are thrilled, and urge all of you, to check out the Facebook/ABC debates this Saturday. And while we could not be happier that candidates, and the political arena in general, are utilizing Social Media, this is something we have seem coming for quite some time. In fact, I was feeling a bit nostalgic and found an article at MTV.com entitled Gen Y Turning To Web, Turning Off CNN, For Political News that discusses the power of Web 2.0 in politics and includes Carrot’s own Mike Germano and Mike Radparvar.

Even with the new year still weeks away, 2008 is already looking O-mazing for the HUE HD Webcam and Carrot Creative. The HUE HD Webcam, a Clique Communications product, has made the front page of O, The Oprah Magazine’s, O List for the January 2008 edition. HUE continunes to receive praise for its compatibility with Macs and PCs alike, its high-quality sight and sound and its flexibility, but as stated in the O List, “The real draw is that it’s as cute as a button.”

The current acclaim from O Magazine comes after HUE’s appearance in Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2007, a spot onGood Morning America and reviews in highly regarded blogs across the Internet. We at Carrot can only begin to express how thrilled we are with the success of HUE HD Webcam and the greater potential it has for 2008 and beyond. We consider this holiday praise from O magazine, and the other various media outlets, an early holiday gift as a confirmation of the invaluable creative design and marketing we offer our clients to actualize the full potential of their products/services. Have a great holiday season everyone.
